My
name is Jeff Wasserman and I am the founder of Life Coach College.
I have been a Life Coach for many years and have successfully owned
and operated 5 large businesses over the past 23 years.
I
sold my most recent business in February 2003 and planned to retire
with my wife of 19 years. I planned to spend time with our twin girls
and our family pets. I had my early retirement years all planned
out.
With
shock and disbelief, my friend, my mentor and my colleague, Thomas
Leonard passed away suddenly on February 11th, 2003. I was heartbroken
by the news. Thomas was considered by the coaching community to be
the founder of Life Coaching and the father of the coaching community.
He had started Coach U and Coachville.
Shortly
thereafter I spoke to many coaches in the community and found the
need for a unified voice in the coaching circles. I found a need
for Coach Training that would actually show a coach how to go out
and coach and make a living. It is great to have access to a thousand
hours of teleclasses, but that does not show you how to coach, that
does not show you how to set up a practice and most importantly,
it does not show you how to make a living as a coach.
At
the urging of many new coaches in the coaching community, I started
Life Coach College. I am a Master Life Coach with many years of training
and experience to actually show you how to coach. I knew how Thomas
thought, I know what Thomas wanted for the coaching community. I
wanted to further that dream.
After
meeting with approximately 500 coaches at conferences and seminars,
I found the biggest challenge was after you join a coaching college,
listen to tapes and "graduate", then what? How do you get clients,
how do you actually coach the clients?
Again,
at the urging of many new coaches, we started Registered Coach.com
and the U.S. Life Coach Association. Both organizations offer coaches
a chance to gain public media exposure as well as help finding clients.
I also have a call in radio show broadcast in Atlanta as well as
other markets and on the internet. I plan to use my shows to interview
coaches that belong to Registered Coach.com
I
started The Coaching Process, an information source for coaching
as well as a link exchange for the coaching community. My goal is
to offer the clients a method to learn more about coaching and individual
coaches using these different sites as well as offering national
advertising to bring potential clients to each clients sites.
Without
clients, coaching is worthless. The idea behind coaching is helping
to make the world a better place, one client at a time.
If
you are thinking of changing careers or becoming a Coach, please
consider Life Coach College. We will work with you one on one to
show you how to be a great coach, how to make a living coaching and
most of all, we will work together to market our services to the
public.
If
you have any questions about Life Coach College, or Coaching in general,

me an e mail to my personal e mail account.
Sincerely,
Jeff Wasserman
