Life Coach College offers a day and evening program. The day program is designed for individuals who plan to coach in the corporate world. Many of the day students are sponsored by their current employer. Most of the day students plan to become in-house corporate coaches.

The evening program is designed for natural health care professionals as well as individuals who plan to coach clients either one-on-one or offer their services through seminars or groups. Focus of this program is healing clients in a holistic manner. Encompassing the mind, body and spirit.

The evening program is 16 weeks long and meets on tuesday and thursday evenings. The next semester starts on July 25th. If you would like to improve your life, help others improve theirs, then coaching may be a career choice for you.

Q) What educational background is required to attend Life Coach College?

A) The only requirement is a minimum of 18 years of age, although most successful coaches are 30-60+ years of age. No prior college experience is required.

Q) How long does it take to become a Registered or Certified Life Coach?

A) It takes 16 weeks to become a Life Coach, although most coaches report a 6 to 18 month period to build a practice.

Q) What is the cost of the program?

A) The cost is $4,995 for the day program and $2,495 for the evening program. LCC offers a payment plan as well as a prepaid tuition discount.

Q) What is the difference between the day and evening programs?

A) The day program is designed for coaches who plan to attract the corporate coaching world. The evening program is designed for individuals who plan to open their own business or add it to an existing business. The evening program is excellent for natural health care practitioners like massage therapist, reflexologist and chiropractors.

Q) What is the prepayment discount?

A) For either program, the discount is $500. For example, if you sign up and prepay for the next evening class which starts on August 30th, no later than August 20th, the cost would be $1,995. ( $2,495 - $500 discount)

Q) Which organization certifies the students of LCC?

A) Certification is available to all students by the US Life Coach Association.

Q) What is the difference between a Registered Life Coach and a Certified Life Coach?

A) Upon completion of the required coaching program, you will receive a diploma from LCC as a Registered Life Coach.

Upon completion of the certification process, you will be awarded a Certified Life Coach designation.

Q) When are the classes available?

A) The day classes are Monday - Thursday, at 11 am EST. The evening classes are Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 8 pm, EST. All classes are recorded and available for 30 days.

Q) What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

A) Coaching works with clients who would like to improve their life, while focusing on the future. This is usually accomplished by designing a life plan, setting goals and redesigning the way you react to life's challenges.

Therapy generally focuses on a specific issue in ones life, looking at the past to discover why the client feels the way they do.

Q) How does distant learning work?

A) Students receive a total of 5 workbooks, coaching cards, personal growth programs & marketing material. At each scheduled class, you dial the appropriate phone number, enter your student number and join the class live. All classes are recorded in case you wish to listen to a class on a pre-recorded basis.

Q) What is the certification process for students who have graduated from another coach training program or a professional with an advanced degree?

A) LCC offers a certification only testing service. For $295. LCC will perform the required testing for certification as a CLC administered by the USLCA. ( US Life Coach Association)
